The "Grownup" Clothes Shopping List

Share It:
I've posted before about how I'm in the process of making a more "grown up" wardrobe - I started a new job that requires a business casual look, and I'm in sales (and also fashion blogging) so looking put together is very important to me. So is sticking to a tight budget, in order to finance my very important hobbies of going out on the weekends and paying rent on time. If you're interested in some outfit ideas, I listed some great shopping resources here as well. Like I've mentioned before, these pieces might not work for your office dress code, but I tried to choose things that would work in a business casual environment or generally have a more put-together vibe.

I had some interest on that last post - about how it really is tough to drop tons of money on work attire, and how people had no idea that Old Navy had gotten so cute - so I figured I would put together some more comprehensive ideas of where to shop for more polished, put-together looks that still express personality and style. OH - and everything is under $100.

Let's start at the top and work our way down --

Hopefully this about covers it. Again - I'm no expert - but I'm in the same boat as y'all, trying to score some deals on semi-professional clothing and figure out the best way to blend in at that 9-5. Maybe I'll start posting outfits that I wear to work - let me know what you want to see!
